CARD CREATING TUESDAYS

Welcome to mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com's Card Creating Tuesdays.

I chose to do a shape card using my Gypsy.

I used the bow from Once Upon a Princess Cartridge cut at 5.25.  I copied the bow, flipped it, grouped it and then welded it together at the top of the bow.  I used the hide feature on the Gypsy to do away with the slits on the card where the polka dots go because I didn't want them showing on the inside of my card.  I put Glossy Accents on the polka dots to give them some depth and added some half pink pearls to them and a large pink crystal at the top of the card.

Supplies:
Once Upon a Time Cartridge
Gypsy
Bazzill paper in three different shades of pink
Glossy Accents
Zig glue pen
Pink pearls cut in half I found at Michaels
Stamp is a random stamp from Joanns

MYCRICUTCRAFTROOM'S 100 CARTRIDGE BLOG HOP!

Hello, I'm Terry and welcome to mycricutcraftroom's 100 Cartridge Blog Hop. You should be coming to me from Tammy's Blog. If you get lost along the way Erica at mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com will get you back on track.

Who doesn't love a PRESENT?

The box was made from medium weight chipboard cut at 6x6 for all six sides and the front flap was cut at 6 x 2 1/2 inches. I covered the box in paper from Me & My Big Ideas Paper Pad.

CUPCAKES!!! YUMMY!!!

The base of the cupcake was made using the Doodlecharms cartridge cutting the circle for the flower on page 90 at 6 inches. Find the center of the circle and draw a smaller 2 inch circle in the middle. Cut slits from the outside 6 inch circle to the smaller 2 inch circle and fold the slits up and hot glue together. Cut 2 12 inch x 2 inch pieces of paper and score every 1/4 inch and attach them together. Wrap the scored paper around the circle and hot glue to the base. Cut a 3 inch styrofoam ball in half and attach pop dots to the inside of the ball and slip a gift card in between the pop dots. Slide the styrofoam ball inside the base. Cut a piece of white grosgrain ribbon at 30 inches and stitch with a needle and thread and pull tight. Hot glue the ribbon to the styrofoam ball. Cut 20 flowers on page 91 of the Doodlecharms cartridge and cut them in half and add stickles to the petals. Attach the flowers to the styrofoam ball in three layers with hot glue. Cut a piece of brown grosgrain ribbon and stitch with needle and thread and pull tight and attach above the three layers of flowers. Add another layer of flowers and attach another layer of white ribbon. Attach a binder clip to the top of the gift card and hot glue a wood ball with glitter to the top of the binder clip and hot glue.

The card was made using the Wild Card cartridge. I stamped the front of the envelope with a stamp from Stampin Up "A Little Something For You", added some Crystazzi flatbacks down the front of the card and attached a cupcake made with the Home Decor cartridge and added some stickles and topped it off with a red glittered cherry on top.
